Professional Photography for Artists and Makers in Wales.The Steve Allison Studio provides affordable, professional photography for artists, makers and creatives who require high-quality images of their work.The studio is available to book as a regional creative resource, helping artists present their work clearly and professionally for exhibitions, applications, websites and promotion.The studio is available for half-day bookings and there is no studio hire fee. A flat fee of £200 covers the professional, photographic expertise and a selection of edited digital images. Printed images can be made available for an additional cost.
About the StudioThe Steve Allison Studio was established following the passing of internationally renowned photographer and graphic artist Steve Allison in 2021.In a deeply generous gesture, Steve’s family entrusted his professional photographic equipment to us. The studio is created in Steve's honour, ensuring that his commitment to creativity continues by supporting artists and makers across Wales.Rather than merely standing as a memorial, the studio exists as a working, vibrant creative space, enabling artists to document their work to a truly professional standard.
Meet the PhotographerAll photography sessions at the studio are carried out by award-winning photographer Gina Hughes.Gina is an established and widely respected photographer & artist with extensive experience photographing artwork and 3D objects. As a practising maker herself, she understands the importance of accurately capturing texture, scale, surface and detail.Gina's careful, professional & detailed approach ensures that work is documented sensitively & professionally, ready for gallery submissions, portfolios, websites and promotional use.
What Can Be Photographed?The studio is suitable for a wide range of creative work, including (but not limited to):Ceramics, Sculpture, Jewellery, Glass, Textiles, Paintings & Drawings, Product & Craft work, Portfolio Documentation, Exhibition Submissions, Website & Promotional Imagery.What’s Included:
